After all, they are places that offer refuge from the rest of the world and serve as vital a nucleus for starting families. Because of these emotions, homebuyers sometimes fall victim to a host of psychological missteps.
Ignoring the Big Picture
Unfortunately, you may lose sight of the big picture when it comes to buying homes. You may fall in love with a driveway or curb appeal of a particular property, for example. These features, once beloved and initially fetching, turn out to be aspects that don't guarantee a lifetime of happiness. Such misdirection unfortunately occurs too often. In a recent survey of 2,000 homebuyers, 80% said they regretted at least one major aspect of their home purchase.
